Important: DemandLetterService.com is operated by a Certified Legal Document Preparer (CLDP) under Arizona law. We are NOT a law firm and do NOT provide legal advice. By using our services, you acknowledge this distinction.

1. Nature of Services

DemandLetterService.com ("we," "us," "our") provides legal document preparation services as an Arizona Certified Legal Document Preparer (CLDP) under ACJA Section 7-208. Our services are limited to preparing, completing, and filing legal documents at the specific direction of our clients.

We are not a law firm. We are not attorneys. We do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal recommendations. We do not represent clients in court or in negotiations. No attorney-client relationship is formed through use of our services.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
Not currently be represented by an attorney in the matter for which you are requesting document preparation
Provide accurate and truthful information

If you are currently represented by an attorney in the relevant matter, you should work with your attorney for document preparation.

3. User Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree that:

All information you provide is accurate, complete, and truthful to the best of your knowledge
You are responsible for your own legal decisions and the consequences of those decisions
You understand that we prepare documents at your direction and do not evaluate the merits of your claims
You will review all documents we prepare and verify their accuracy before use
You understand the difference between legal document preparation and legal representation

4. Scope of Services

Our services are strictly limited to:

Preparing demand letters and related legal documents at your specific direction
Formatting documents in a professional, legally appropriate manner
Providing general information about document requirements and procedures

Our services do NOT include:

Legal advice, opinions, or recommendations about your situation
Evaluating the strength or merits of your claim
Guaranteeing any particular outcome or response
Representing you in court, mediation, or negotiations
Advising on legal strategy or next steps

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By placing an order, you agree to pay the full amount associated with the service tier you select. Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and are in US dollars. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time, though changes will not affect orders already placed and confirmed.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
We are not liable for the outcome of any dispute, legal proceeding, or negotiation related to documents we prepare
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control

You acknowledge that demand letters do not guarantee any particular response or outcome from the recipient, and we make no representations to the contrary.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between you and DemandLetterService.com, we agree to the following resolution process:

Step 1: Informal Resolution

Step 2: Mediation

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may request non-binding mediation in Maricopa County, Arizona. Both parties will share mediation costs equally.

Step 3: Binding Arbitration

If mediation fails, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in Maricopa County, Arizona, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Small Claims Exception

Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court in Maricopa County, Arizona, if the claim qualifies under the court's jurisdictional limits.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

9. Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against DemandLetterService.com.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
